Mobile offices and modular

office trailer

An office trailer is a mobile office built on a trailer-type frame and delivered by truck. It has an office layout inside, with electrical, heating and cooling. Providers rent it for construction sites, events and other uses when space is needed fast.

Why it matters

WillScot describes mobile office trailers as portable, customizable and easy to move as needs change. Simple units come in lengths from 20 to 64 feet and widths from 8 to 12 feet, and larger complexes can be built. Customers use them for job sites, audits, busy periods, office moves or renovations. A common mistake is to ask for an office trailer when a container office would do. A trailer offers more floor space and layout options, while a container is simpler and easier to place. Check power needs, steps or ramps, and any permit rules with the provider and the city.
