Membership categories and dues
The National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) is made up of both Regular and Associate members.
Regular membership
Any company or organization engaged in the portable storage industry which is primarily engaged in the renting, leasing or selling of Storage Products (Storage Products defined as; storage containers, semi-trailers, mobile self-storage containers, containerized structures or mobile offices) to “end users” (“end users” defined as a customer of Regular Member who will use the Portable Storage Products for their own use and will not re-rent or re-sell the Portable Storage Product to other individuals or organizations). NPSA Regular Member Categories are derived by the number of staffed locations within your company.

Associate membership
Any company or organization engaged in or responsible for providing product, financial, legal or other services or support to the portable storage industry, and which is not eligible to be a Regular Member, shall be eligible to become an Associate Member of this Association. NPSA Associate Memberships are derived from your company’s gross annual revenues.

Membership questions
Who can be a Regular member of NPSA?
A company that rents, leases or sells storage products (storage containers, semi-trailers, mobile self-storage containers, containerized structures or mobile offices) to end users who use them for their own use. Regular dues are $600, or $5,000 for a national company with 10 or more staffed locations.
Who can be an Associate member?
A company that provides products, financial, legal or other services or support to the portable storage industry and is not eligible to be a Regular member. Associate dues depend on gross annual revenue: $700, $1,100 or $5,000. Wholesale marine container suppliers have their own two categories.
How do I apply?
Use the finder on this page to get your category, then open the online application: the Regular member form or the Associate member and vendor form. Questions about your category go to NPSA at (816) 960-6552 or info@npsa.org.
What do members get?
Members get discounted registration for all NPSA events, a listing on the NPSA website with the chance to receive leads, the printed directory, the quarterly newsletter The Dispatch, the Community Forum, members-only research, the Mentorship Program, training videos, member-only insurance products and advocacy.
