Associate member
An associate member of NPSA is a company or group that provides product, financial, legal or other services or support to the portable storage industry and is not eligible to be a Regular member. Examples include container suppliers, lessors, lenders and service firms.
Why it matters
Associate dues depend on gross annual revenue, and wholesale marine container suppliers have their own tier. Associates take part in events, sponsorships and awards. For example, the Supplier of the Year Award is for an Associate member company. In the community forum, Associates have full, view-only or no access depending on the category, to keep talk candid and free of direct sales. They have no access to the Vendor Reviews category. A common mistake is to join as Associate and expect to post sales pitches in every forum category. Read the access rules first.

A national company member is the NPSA Regular membership category for companies with 10 or more staffed locations. It is one of the Regular categories, which depend on how many staffed locations a company has. NPSA lists the category on its join page.
Supplier of the Year
Supplier of the Year is an NPSA award for an Associate member company that has stood out as a supplier of products or services to the portable storage industry. Associate members are companies that serve the industry but do not rent or sell storage products to end users.
community forum
The NPSA Community Forum is a members-only online discussion board where portable storage companies ask questions and share information with peers. NPSA says it brings business and industry conversations into one organized place, so members can work together and learn from each other.
sponsor
A sponsor is a company that pays to support an event or an association program in return for brand exposure. NPSA offers year-round sponsorships, event sponsorships and advertising, and it lists sponsors at levels such as Double Platinum, Platinum and Gold.
exhibitor
An exhibitor is a company that rents booth space at a trade show to show its products or services. At the NPSA Conference and Trade Show, exhibitors are suppliers and service firms that want to meet portable storage operators face to face.
