RentalModo says it is usually two or three pages. It covers the rate, minimum term, damage rules, delivery and pickup, and fees. The fine print is often in clauses that renters skim. ## Why it matters For a customer, the agreement decides the real cost and what happens if something goes wrong. For an operator, it protects the fleet and sets the billing rules. A common mistake is to skip it because the quote looked clear. Items such as early termination, cleaning fees, late fees and who pays for access problems can sit in the agreement alone.
