Container HVAC is a heating, cooling and ventilation system fitted to a shipping container. It is used when people work in the box or when contents need a steadier temperature. It usually goes with insulation and electrical work. Systems and sizes vary by seller and use.

## Why it matters

HVAC makes a container usable all day for offices, labs and workshops. Operators install wall-mounted or other units, and the system needs power, a sealed shell and insulation to work well. A common mistake is to size the unit by floor area alone. Steel, sun load and poor sealing change what the box needs. Another is to skip the electrical review.
